Formed at the beginning of 2001, the Lugg Valley Company of Archers is a friendly group of archers for Hereford and the surrounding area. 

Current membership comprises mainly of seniors (18 +) but we have recently agreed to invite juniors over the age of 10 (providing a parent remains in attendance throughout each session).  We have a strengthening competitive element to our club but also a solid recreational element too, so archers who wish to shoot in local, regional and national competitions are catered for, along with those who simply want to enjoy shooting in a wonderful environment with friends. 

We support both recurve and longbow archers and now we can accept compound archers too. Primarily focused on target archery we do enjoy a regular clout shoot with our sister clubs and affiliations.

Our aim is to encourage and develop the sport in its major forms, and to make it enjoyable and rewarding to all who wish to participate in archery. 

Introductory courses are held for new members under the supervision of qualified coaches, Currently coaching is unavailable at Lugg Valley due to work commitments  however you can contact Bromyard Bowman who are running regular course. 

Alternatively look out for us at one of the many fetes and fairs across the county where we provide a ‘Have-a-go’ session. We’d love to see you.
